The aim of the contracting authority was to build awareness of responsible tourism, to provide information to tourism companies about the business opportunities provided by responsible tourism and how to exploit these opportunities.
One of the long-term goals is to support the development of specialized tourism with high value and low volume of supply in contrast to mass tourism – high volume and low value.
